Powell at Farragut Week 2

Powell really did have some back-breaking penalties in this one, and they weren't the 15-yard variety either. Just goes to show that their margin of error is a lot smaller this season.

Please fill us in on all these kids brought in "from all over" this past year.  The only new kids on Powell's roster this year are the freshmen.  Keefer followed the rules and sat out last year.

That’s what I was wondering too lol. They had a transfer from AC but that’s all I know.

Coach Baseball Slide is as crooked as they come. He and Crooked Josh Jones were a match made in heaven. Po-Unwell got a taste of Coach Holier Than Thou’s Fairygut dust. 
 

Maybe Ole baseball sliding Matty Lowe should take a hard stance against like Reverend Eddie and he would’ve won the game(doubtful though).

yes, Keefer sat out a year but that doesn’t deny he was recruited away from Halls.

While you are at it, why don't you start naming the kids on every Knox County roster who got a transfer in from another zone.

Powell just lost their best recruiter, and it shows because they haven't reloaded well like in the past. Yes I agree they all recruit if they have any type of success. West Knox has to for sure with the private schools that are around. They have to recruit their own kids much less someone out of zone.

Powell lost a ton of talented guys who have been starting for 3, if not 4 years.  There is no way they weren't going to have some growing pains this season.  

But it's not like there isn't talent there.  There is, and a lot of young guys are playing this year.  They will stay at a highly competitive level.

No doubt they lost some great talent that doesn't come around very often and they won with it. Heck a good handful is playing D1 ball. Where did Redmond end up? 

Just think though if 3 for Bearden comes to Powell instead, FFF son goes to Powell, etc. The growing pains would not be as bad. 

After watching ya'll vs OR I thought Powell should've been up 21-0 before OR had its first score. That would have been a whole different ball game. OR didn't just beat ya'll up and down the field. In the first half I thought ya'll dominated the line of scrimmage. That fumble by QB hurt and the INT after two drives. And 22 for OR did fumble that ball

The WR you mentioned is at a juco in Kansas -  Hutchison CC.  Needs work on his academics.
