Looks like the Dragons may have hit a stride. Should be interesting at the Dragon Den in a few weeks time.

Who they're playing has alot to do with that SS. We have Pal Thursday night.  Hopefully they can keep this momentum. If Clinton can beat Powell, they might be able to give OR a good game in a couple of weeks.

True. They’re doing what a good team should to subpar competition though. Yeah, the Powell game will tell a lot.

Problem for AC could be if Clinton continues to improve after the Powell and OR games or do they lose some close ones and get disheartening. But any way it goes this will be a rivalry game and my guess is you can throw everything you know out the window. Clinton's better than last year, leaps. Can't wait to see OR and Clinton as OR is obviously better too

It seemed as if OR started off slow against Karns. Maybe OR was keeping it as vanilla as possible.  The important thing is OR's defense pitched a shutout and won comfortably. They will be more than ready for Clinton in a couple of weeks. Clinton will have their hands full with Powell Thursday night.

Yeah we had 3 or 4 turnovers in the red zone, which killed us. Not making excuses but that game could’ve easily been in the 60s to 0. I’ll give credit to Karns, but most of them were unforced too. The young Sophomore QB, while very talented, still makes those Sophomoric mistakes every now and again. Will definitely have to clean that up against stiffer competition.

I seen that. OR looked rusty but Karns was pretty good size. And True Karns did not get the score. OR is in better shape than I assumed for 1st year coach. I think Clinton still a bit to go to beat the Mavs.

In the 4 years that Keith has been here, Clinton has gotten better and are beating the teams they should beat, but can't seem to beat the really good teams just yet. Hopefully, they are heading in that direction.

Right now, if Clinton were to beat Oak Ridge and Powell, and AC....I would consider those upsets and a signature win.

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
