Hope William Blount does well next week against West Ridge. Robert Reeves is a class act and in my opinion someone most of us overlooked including me especially the way WB played against Morristown East last year. Glad to see a group of kids buy in and hopefully it leads to bigger things.

A lot of people have minimized WB's success thus far because of our schedule. I can partly understand that, but this team is 4-0 for the first time since 2007 and we have been averaging about 35 or 40 points a game. That alone should make region teams take us seriously.

Look at the teams you have beat. They all suck. WB, if the can get by WR, Will get rolled by DB, SH and Jeff

I don't look at Jeff County as an unwinnable game. Sorry! We have beaten you guys several times in the last decade or so and there were several more close ones where we could have very easily won. We last won at Jeff County in 2014 under Ridge if I'm not mistaken. And we have a tradition of surprising DB here and there. Again, the Govs are 4-0 for the first time in years and are averaging about 35 points a game. I hope teams just look at our schedule and take us lightly.

The way I see it is the Govs have had a consistent identity thus far. They score points, they get key stops, they get pressure on QBs, and they generate turnovers. The Govs have never been so consistent even against bad competition. That's why in years past we'd do stuff like follow up a big win with a historically bad loss. My point is you can't just discount a team's success because of the teams they have played so far. A team that scores a lot of points consistently probably has a pretty good offense for one thing.

WB has beaten AE (0-4), Heritage (1-3 win vs South Doyle whose only win is against AE), Karns (0-4) and Morr East (0-4). That is a terrible schedule
