Pujo the Freshman OL is a good looking football player. He has the size and frame for a future. I’m telling y’all are doing that kid a disservice if y’all don’t work with on how to be a OL. He needs to go to some camps this summer. Nothing against how kids are taught but mine son had to learn how to play OL when he got to college. That kid needs to start training right and eating right for that frame he has. He could maybe play some college ball somewhere if he wants too.

The boy goes to camps all summer, his dad played college football.

He's invested and has a great work ethic. If he stays healthy and crosses all his t,s, ,he'll be playing somewhere.

No shot. Jellico won’t be able to stop Cloudland…NG had Jellico beat but threw a pick 6. They didn’t score one offensive touchdown on NG or really even get close

So hard for me to believe Jellico has a shot at Cloudland they have lost to the two of the worst teams in Region 2 already.Midway and Oakdale. One or both May not even make the playoffs!

Yeah me either…especially at Cloudland. Their only prayer is to spread it out so much that Cloudland can’t catch them but they don’t have the boys up front to handle Cloudland for 4 quarters.

I think Zac just has to weather the storm.  He's got some tough kids on the way.  This group has sort of imploded.  What I witnessed friday was beyond awful.  What I'm hoping is that they just played to stay healthy for the region.  This is not even close to one of Hampton's stronger teams.

I wouldn’t be that though on them. Hampton was so much better in the skill position’s compared to Cloudland. Hampton never had any big plays up the middle running the ball. They just got on the edges and the RBs made plays.

    • I am going to assume you are not a lawyer, and most reasonable lawyers would not say the lawsuit has a zero percent chance in court. I agree with you that a coach has the ability to dismiss anyone from a team. However, Ms. Winfree was never presented with the opportunity to present her witnesses and have them tell the coaches and administrators what they heard. A lawyer could better explain the lawsuit and the grounds to you. Before you start making wild assumptions about the lawsuit, would it be too much to ask that you do a little legal research first? The lawsuit is dealing with due process, loss of property, and defamation.   You can read the lawsuit here: https://bdnewsletter.files.wordpress.com/2024/04/doc-1-complaint-filed-4-18-2024.pdf
    • The administration took the path of backing the coach and whispering to people that the kid was a problem. The reality is that the kid was never a problem on a team or classroom. The player says she has witnessed who back her not saying the f-word.  Why did the coach make that story up and other stories? I am not Sigmund Freud and do not have an answer for the ex=-coach's behavior..
    • I think they have they coach they want close to being done. I guess we will all see how this plays out. I hope the hire a good one. There are some players in the box for the next coach to work with.
    • Going to grundle Troy Fleming?
    • I agree I don't think it will go to trial either, but I feel like that will be because no judge would deem this to warrant a law suit... If the school board settles, they loose and all coaches and schools loose too.
