superb pick on the central/heritage game. what made you want to pick them? their 35-0 win over a pretty bad LC team? Lol

Lenior City was 5-2 and beat Clinton the week before Heritage won 35-0. I watched the Central at Maryville game and they were horrible. I also watched the West and Powell games and they were horrible. Heritage has more offense than Central right now. You can't turn the ball over 6 times and win the game. Frank Johnson was questional tonight because of a high ankle sprain. There's your answer.

heritage faired no better against maryville, powell and west. Lenoir city’s 5-2 record was fools gold. Heritage is the armpit of high school football. You should’ve known better. You also should’ve added in there that central might be the worst coached team in knox co. I can’t quit laughing at that Hail Mary that was dropped.

To throw two pick 6's and 2 kickoff fumbles plus 2 more fumbles and your in it with .007left in the game. Also for some reason a lot of these Thursday Night games end out being closer than most people think. It turned out to be a good game anyway.

Your right , when I'm trying to pick their games it's like picking the biggest loser and they reach down and go for a new low each week. This week they play Howard and I want to give them the edge but watch Ooltewah do it again. There are a couple of teams that it depends on what side of the bed they wake up on each Friday determines how they'll play that night that keeps me from hitting 90% on these guesses.  Hope you enjoy this.

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
