Beech at Springfield

Beech comes to town this week, and the Bucs have had the Jackets number for quite a few years now. Beech needs to win to avoid a possible fourth place region finish, while Springfield just needs a win and to find some offense. 
 

I don’t have a good feeling about this one, and I hope I’m wrong.

We HAVE to find some offense. Our defense has played well enough to win lately.  I have a very very bad feeling about this onev

Bucs big, running clock 2nd half

Preseason I thought this would be a battle, but right now I don’t think it’s close. I’ve watched a few games and I just don’t think Springfield matches up with Beech anywhere.

Beech is better on paper but THATS WHY WE PLAY THE GAME!!

Jackets best of luck. Feed the refs well. Give Beech the feeling they get every week at home with the ref cookin

They (refs/Springfield) threatened our team with unsportsmanlike with our student section speaker.  Beware of excessive noise makers causing your team 15 yards.  Just giving the Beech faithful a heads up.

I may or may not have a horn. And at what point is it worth it. Lol

Beech - 28

Springfield - 14

Beech will struggle slightly on special teams and give up some good field position for Springfield to punch in a few, but Springfield will get stagnant on offense once Beech stops their running game. Could end early if Beech gets active with #5.

Could be. As bad as I hate to say it, I don’t think this will be close. Defense will play well enough to keep us in it for a while but with offense going 3 and out so many times it will set up short field position for the Bucs. They will capitalize more often than not. We’ve got pieces on offense to be competitive but lack of size and push on the o-line and sub-par qb play have killed us all year.

Springfield needs to find a way to get to 4-A. Can’t compete with the Bucs and HC every year. Then throw in Clarksville, Centennial, Gallatin, and Hendersonville on the schedule and that’s not a recipe for success. Need to schedule NW, NE and West Creek for easy wins.
