I hope all these girls stay healthy. Last year was a rough year for a lot of kids . Seemed like every team had someone on crutches by February

Yes it was.  I believe we would have made it last year if our stars were healthy.  Even so, I believe we are a much better team than last year.  All the starters are ball handlers and can score.  It's not just one girl.  We've had as many as 5 girls in double figures at one time.  We've yet to run into anyone who could successfully press us and we don't give up a lot of points.  Not much drop off with the 2nd string either.

Is the gym at Roan Mountain bigger than the one in Baileyton?  Would like to see one of these two games this year and I figure I am probably not getting into North Greene's gym for it.  When are the two games?

Our place is smaller but there's usually room at our girls games unless we're playing Hampton.  Our home game was postponed and a make up date has not been announced.  We play in bailyton on February the 2nd

Well, tomorrow night is the big night.  Will the lady landers get their first L?  We looked a little jet legged tonight.  That's not good considering we press and play in transition all the time.  This weather has been the devil but I know them lady huskies have been prepping for us.  We haven't been shooting well in our own gym.  If we get into one of those 45-42 type games I'll be worried.  We have to force our style of ball.

66-9?  Man, I'd hate to see y'all have your best performance then... Lol

Dobyns-Bennett Lady Indians played perhaps the most perfect game I have ever seen them play over the years in dismantling the Big 4 favorite West Ridge Lady Wolves last night, 65-23.  We got The Hill tomorrow and Boone on Friday.  Boone will be much tougher this time around than when we beat them in Kingsport a couple weeks ago with the Flores girl now playing for them.

Seriously, we only shot about 20 % last night.  We've just played too many weak teams this year.  NG is coming in with battle scars

When does the Bearden Female Bulldogs play again? Bearden Female Bulldogs have a loaded basketball team. They have mercy ruled quite a few other teams. I am Captain Guru and I approve this message.

Check the coach t schedules.  Guru, I also approve your message

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
