Betsy in a close one on the road. Betsy’ loss to Greeneville may be more of a positive than a negative. They are refocused and you can’t get back at Gvegas unless you take care of business in AC. The

The team who can control the line of scrimmage, commit the fewest penalties, limit turnovers and take advantage of what the opponent gives them will win. It’s gonna be a good old fashioned dog fight. I think game planning and the chess match between the coaching staffs will be fun to watch develop as well. For AC, Betsy and the Devils, the next two weeks are always critical. AC can pencil in Betsy/Devils on their calendar for rounds 2 and possibly 3. It’s just how it is. There may (in any given season) be one team in the West that can beat them.  But in the East-4A, Quad 1 is where it’s at. Even when one team seams to have the upper hand, it’s not always written in stone. I’m predicting Upperman to come out of Quad 2 and PC out of the west. I dare not pick Quad 1. So, let’s just enjoy the journey and pray for good weather!

Agree 100% Dave and our offensive line play better be better than the last two weeks.Should be a great game.

After watching film on Anderson county this is my take. QB edge Anderson,O-line edge Anderson,running back edge cyclones they have 3,receivers edge cyclones pick your poison there,special teams edge cyclones,line backers and d-line push,secondary edge cyclones going to be a great game

AC should win with a comfortable 14. But we have to stop deep pass. Safety needs to assist DBs as needed, Or we need a good pass rush my opinion we will have both. I think the Mavs Legion of Doom defense hold Betsy long enough for Moog and Zae to pick them apart. Heck the way Zae runs thats another big Mav option. Receivers we have a crop of great ones. Moog Zae however problem for Betsy IMO is stopping James. We just have too many weapons to not march to Chattanooga. That's my opinion and I have been wrong one time but I can't remember when. :popcorneater: when the smoke clears the the Mavs defense should have the win! And let not forget speedster LaRue and with headhunter Small on defense, let's have mercy.

      I agree with the Farragut and Bradley claim. Those will both be wins. Bearden like you say is depending on when you get them in comparison to when the wheels fall off.  As far as West goes I’m 50-50. They have been able to reload so far so until they show me they haven’t I can’t count them out.

      during the 2nd round of the playoffs last year against Milan, Gray partially tore his meniscus. He had a minor repair around Thanksgiving. Recovery time was minimal and he has been full force for baseball this season.

      Playing high school sports is a privilege not a right.  The college did not have to rescind the scholarship.  Scholarship offers are pulled all the time for a number of reasons. That was 100% their choice.  A coach can keep, cut, or dismiss any player that they want to without reason anytime they want.  Is that the right way to run a program?? I don't think that it is, but these are the facts of the matter. This case has absolutely 0% chance of going in the plaintiff's favor. Futhermore, I'd imagine that these administrators and the coach are a part of some teaching or coaching organization that will cover at least 1 million dollars each in legal fees. Obviously the kid and her family feel like there were "damages" thus the lawsuit.  Unfortunately, the law is not on their side in this case.

      Maryville will recapture the loses from last year against West, Bradley and Farragut. The Bearden game will be the tough one but I look for the wheels to come off that ride somewhere down the road because of all the crap that goes on there. I know to many parents there and some of the things I've been told and some of the post a few of them have made on facebook. They all can't be liars.
