The fact that the remaining players were FRESHMEN and sophomores  for AE as well though.  But your incoming freshman class haven't beat AE's incoming freshman class so you better start recruiting now.

Wrong. Alcoa Freshman did not play AE. At the Middle School level, Alcoa plays in the MAC league. Alcoa is the team to beat. Keep thinking AE going to have something for Alcoa in the future.

I don't see AE on the list? Sad, the feeder programs are the key to success.

You know most of those upcoming Freshman are going to other schools in Knoxville...at least the best ones. Sad times right now for Austin East Football.

That could be true but as of November 2023, 90% of them said they're going to AE.  Fingers  crossed though

AE's Mac's team defeated Alcoa's MAC's team 2 times this season.  Both AE's JV Mac team and Varsity Mac team made it to the championship game.  JV team won and the varsity team lost to undefeated Farragut by 4 points.  You posted the 10 year old team, AE didn't fill a 10 year old team in the YAC league.  However, the rest of the YAC teams made it to the Championship with AE winning all of them but 3 titles.   Our YOUTH program is on the right track we just have to keep teams coming in recruiting our players.

I  truly hope so, Great for East Tennessee and Knoxville high school football for Austin East to be competitive....
