What about Wade?

That would be a surprise but Wade has done a heck of a job at DCA. This year might be his best yet with no linemen over 200 lbs, a 3,000 yard passer and 1,000 yard rusher. He’d never complain but DCAs administration hasn’t been the best at adding kids that would benefit the academy in the hallways, locker rooms, classrooms, courts, and fields. If Wade got a better job nobody would reasonably begrudge him. He may not be perfect but the guy loves his players and football. I watched him eulogize a former player this season and you can see what these kids mean to him.

We would love to have him at BA.
Proven winner, sounds perfect to me at the D2 level and knows the landscape.   Bowers knows winners.

Bowers knows winners but when it was time to hire his predecessor he completely messed up. He should have hired Wade. Everybody knew he should have and he set the program back because of the Garrett hire.

Anybody would be lucky to have Wade. He most definitely has what it takes.

That Bowers man only care about the man in the mirror. He didn’t want his successor to be successful. Now he will swoop in and become the white knight again.

The man is good at stroking his on ego.

Isn’t it really about gold balls.  And, a culture that isn’t toxic.  He’s got all that in spades.

Ensworth was already setting back under Bowers before Garrett took it.....aint no doubt Wade can coach lights out....and Booger wouldnt bet against Ensworth wins few more games if Bowers appoints him as Ensworth is cycling out....

....anyone would fortunate to have Wade....he needs to stay at DCA...unless he wants more dinero......Ensworth does not rise back to dominance if hired by Wade....

if great coaches dont have the Jimmy and Joes....you dont collect Gold Balls

Booger just sayin ;)

he ant white knitin anything without the J & Js.....they were turnin to avg couple years before they bit off some of that big blueblood class...and theyve been avg since.....it may become Ensworth time again somewhere down the road in a cycle...but it aint soon....Bower or not

...the McCallie and Baylor cycle of AAA dominance has to finish first....when that happens everyone outside Chattanooga can quit sobbin, suckin their thumbs and makin excuses about over the boardin deal.......then Nashville can start whinin amongst themselves about whos goin to start stackin up Gold Balls again

Booger just sayin  :thumb:

    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
