The sideline official on Upperman’s side has been questionable at best. Every big play he is throwing a flag on Pearl. That last “holding” was not a holding at all. Granted Pearl is not helping themselves but that one official is definitely favoring the Honey Bees.

Ramon Foster disagrees and that last holding call was holding when your hands are outside the shoulder pads.  It's not hard to see on the replay

Ok if you say so

It's not me just saying so It's a former NFL Lineman Ramon Foster saying the same thing.  PC is the better team but have shot themselves in the foot all game long so stop blaming the Refs.

What’s going to be the Honey Bees excuse when they lose?

Lack of Hydration? Pearl knowing what a forward pass is?

The fact is Pearl is playing undisciplined and they are still winning. After the first drive, PC has shut down the Upperman offense.

29 yards for Upperman after the first drive

I don’t care what that babbling dude says. That last holding call the WR was not outside the shoulder pads. It was not a flag plain and simple.

It don’t matter though because like I said earlier this week, the honey hole for the bees has run dry.

    • Wanted to see if all of you would lift up Kyle James family in prayer. Kyle was one of the best wrestlers to ever come out of Soddy Daisy and as some of you know he lost his house a few weeks ago and now his family and friends mourns his passing. Not sure if any of you were around in early 2000’s when Kyle was wrestling at Soddy, but he was a 3 time state champ and a Fargo AA along with going to Colorado to train to make the Olympic team. That goal was never reached due to medical issues, but he was an amazing wrestler and his family is as good as gold. If you were around at that time and have any pictures of Kyle, please go onto Alexy Winesburgh FB page and post. Thanks, Doug Benton
    • My opinion the 8 teams will be-  Greenback, Wartburg, Gordonsville, Jo Byrns, Eagleville, Bruceton, Dresden, and South Fulton. Gordonsviile is probably the favorite but I wont say it will be an easy road. With the right draw any of the 8 could win it.
    • I understand Gibson Co. will be announced tomorrow with a familiar name. Not sure about So. Gibson.
    • A huge addition to the staff today! Former Hardin Valley legend and Richmond College running back Aaron Dykes was announced as the running backs coach. Rushed for over 3,000 yards at HVA, with 35 total touchdowns. I loved watching in Hardin Valley. I can’t believe he’s at Bearden now. I know he was trying to get a HVA job, I don’t know what happened there and how he ended up at Bearden, but I'm glad he’s here and believe he will be teaching art class as well! What a good get for the staff!!
    • Thoughts? Gordonsville won it last year with a sophomore pitcher and returned almost everybody. Can anyone beat them?
