2024-2025 way to early double a rankings

No idea where kids will fall in their weight classes... Dual results is really the only thing to speculate.

I know there was a big fuss about the brackets of state duals this year, what nobody is mentioning is the exact same thing is set up to happen next year.  Cleveland will be the 1 seed- obviously, and now Halls will be the 2 seed.

Halls only loses a few starters and Maryville graduates several.  Nobody else in Region 2 is on that level, so Halls is a strong favorite to win their region.  In Region 1, DB will be in the conversation again- but they will avoid Halls in the sectional as they are both clear favorites to be no. 1's.  I am not sure what is happening at Science Hill, but they were wayyyy down this year (compared to their usual), and I don't  see them, Jeff co or Mo-west stepping up and knocking Halls out of the 2 seed.

Also, if Bradley makes it to state again- they will be opposite Cleveland.  So 3 of those bottom 4 slots of the bracket would be Halls, Bradley and whoever keeps their seed between Summit and Brentwood.

Summit lost a lot.

I know i've been kinda homey for Summit this season and while yes they lose Little and Desselle they return 3 of their 5 (Leach, Little, and Savarino) finalists. Masi (4th), McKinney (3rd) and Posey (DNP but was ranked 2 most of the year) also return.

I know Cleveland is famous for reloading, but they're losing more seniors from the state tourney this year than Summit. Plus Syzmborski is leaving too.

I thought Posey was a senior? Also, we are returning 5 of our 7 state finalists and 7 of our 11 placers. Our freshman class this upcoming year is killer and all of the ones who make the lineup will contend for a state title next year, so I expect no drop off from this year even with Logan graduating and Lucas moving back to Indiana. Summitt will be good again for sure. I honestly don’t know much about what the other teams are getting back.

No sir, Posey is a jr this year.

But yeah like i said Cleveland is famous for reloading. I wasn't saying by any means Summit is near the level of being able to take them (if anything i thought this year was the only year they'd have a shot for the foreseeable future). Just replying to the ones who said they're losing a lot, pointing out that they're losing two seniors while Cleveland is set to lose more.

So next year....

Top half:  Cleveland(1 seed), Brentwood (loses seed- opposite side of Summit), ? and ?

Bottom half: Halls (2 seed), Summit (3 seed), Bradley (opposite Cleveland), and  ?

and one of those question marks is going to be DB

    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
    • Dorian Eskridge had a great Junior year, highlighted by a great game to lead HVA to an upset win at OR that year. I think that was 2010. In 2011 OR won at HVA. OR had a real good QB that year l think. Dorian Eskridge had a great senior year also. He always played hard from the DCM videos l saw.
    • It seems we lost a ton to graduation. We shall see how it shapes up for 2024.
