abraham
i would just like to give props to NCS for such a turnaround year. 7-0 and already have more wins this year than last year. Charlie Anderson has really turned that program around. thats what a man defense, hustle, and good shooters can do for you. keep up the good work. khopkins
I agree with Abraham. It's great to see NCS having a good year. I went to their game last night (vs University School of Nashville). Although got beat by 5, they played well together as a team, hustled throughout the game, and kept their heads in the game. Their passing is good, but needs to be a little quicker. Confidence is definitely up, but I did see some wavering at times, which usually led to passing up easy shots or poor shot selection. USN shot lights out in the second half (or so it seemed). If anyone knows their shooting percentage in the second half I would like to know. #23 was big, strong and had a very good shot. #34 played better than I expected. And their gaurd #14 had a very good fade away. I'd like to see Pace go left. He had a few easy lay ups had he gone to his left. (Appeared USN defended him to his right all night long...good scouting). Again, its good to see the excitement at NCS. Go Eagles!
TrojanMan
What if NCS had former players Josh Stephens and Anthony Hopkins (Lipscomb) and Cody Willoughby (Davidson Academy) still at the school. They would be pretty good.
eagletime
I don't even recall Anthony Hopkins even playing at NCS. I do obviously remember Stephens and Willoughby.
TrojanMan
Hopkins never played at NCS. He left after 5th or 6th grade. His sister was good athlete who could of been a superstar at NCS but left her 8th grade year and played softball and soccer at Lipscomb HS. titanman
The Hopkins kid starts at Lipscomb right now. That may change once the football players are integrated into the team. At any rate, he should still get significant minutes.

khopkins
TrojanMan Thanks for the compliment on both Lauren and Anthony. Although they are both superstars in my book, until you actually earn a reputation like that, anyone "could" be a superstar. That said, I am extremely proud of both of them, and their younger sister Kelcee (7th grader).
