Guest OKIE
IF YOUR LOOKING FOR THE REAL COACH OF THE YEAR IT IS KYLE STACY OF THE FORREST ROCKETS.NO OTHER COACH HAD TO ENDURE THE TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS COACH STACY HAD THIS YEAR. FIRST WITH THE LOSS OF YOUR STARING QB FOR THE FIRST 3 GAMES AND ALSO TWO SENIOR LINEMAN FOR THE YEAR IN THE FIRST GAME.STARTING OUT 0-4 THEN THE DEATH OF JR. CHAD FRANKILN AS THEY WARMED UP FOR GAME 5. THEY WON 5 OF THEIR LAST 6 GAMES INCLUDING AN UPSET OF HUNTLAND AFTER FALLING BEHIND 13-0 IN THE FIRST QUARTER.COACHING IS JUST NOT ABOUT WINNING AND LOSING BUT ALSO TEACHING YOUNG PEOPLE HOW TO UNDERSTAND LIFE AND BECOME MEN.I WANT TO THANK COACH STACY FOR BEING NOT ONLY BEING A GREAT COACH BUT ALSO A GREAT MAN. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME MY SON HAD TO ENDURE A LOSS OF A TEAMATE IN THE LAST 4 YEARS AND SURE HOPE THAT IF YOUR TEAM HAS THIS HAPPEN, YOU WILL HAVE A COACH AND A STAFF LIKE OUR ROCKETS DID THIS YEAR. Lynch
Coach Pack from CPA did a great job this year bringing his team from an 0-3 start to a state title. Healso was very smar to have Tom Moore assist him(one of the bes head coaches i9n the state last year). Coach Major Wright from White Station took a winless team a year ago to one game away from the playoffs in a tough 5A region with Houston, Germantown and Collierville. The coach at MBA(not sue of the name) made the Big Red better every week and brought them back to the state with less talent than their previous years. OriginalDeuce
Congrats go to Brentwood's Coach Crawford who did win coach of the year in 5A. He took a good team and made them great. In his first year as a head coach he won the championship that is signs of a winner. Congratulations Brentwood and Coach Crawford
Ctwnplyboy18
Centennial High Coach Greg Gregory turned a team of misfits into winner going from a 2-8 record to a 7-4 playoff contender also consider the fine work that defensive co-ordinator Mike Finney does. Congrats to the entire CHS staff and good luck next year. oh ya and Congratulations to Coach Gregory for being Williamson Co. Coach of the year. tlove13
My vote is George Quarles or Scott Meadows. I also think that Gary Sheppard at Halls gets the most out of his players than most coaches around. If you beat Halls, you have earned it.
