heyhey guys!! i'm back for a new season!! just wonderin if anyone knows how we r goin to look this year?? just a question!! i'm so ready for the new season to start so i can go to some hometown games!! Thanks to all that reply!!

Rockwood HS/ David Lane 20-16 Region 2 Champs

 

Rockwood will have the majority of its starting lineup returning for

the 2003 season. However, production from its offense is crucial for

success. The 2002 team BA was below .300.

The bright spot for the Tigers is their pitching rotation. Juniors,

Robert Gilmore and Seth Robinson posted ERA's below 2.2 and should be the core of the rotation along with Eric Webb and Brian Reed. Others Who Will Help: Corey Payne: RHP - OF, Matt Goddard 3B, and E.T. McCreary - C. Rockwood has been the Region Champions (Region 2-A : 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002) for 4 consecutive seasons which is quite an accomplishment and they have State Tournament appearances in (Class A) 1999, 2000, and 2001.

Yes you guys will eb awfully tough this year. When you play us (Greenback) we'll see who goes to state. I can't wait to play you guys in May, it will be fun.

After a year off from the Spring Fling, I feel that the Tigers are set to return and they might even challenge for the title. They basically have everyone back and they should hit much better this year because everyone should be a little stronger.
