It's time to rut some week 8 promos like last week I'm going to include those Carter County teams even if they still aren't playing. 

Friday Oct 4th Results

Cosby 49 Jellico 0

Unaka: DNP

Friday Oct 11th Games

 Cloudland at Jellico: The game that was the matchup in region 1 last season is likely not to be the same this season. It will carry weight for other reasons mainly the Highlanders will hope to take the field after 2 weeks of battling hurricane Helene. The Blue Devils will travel from the purple line turf of Sevier County to their Blue line turf. They will hope to return to scoring fashion as well after being shut out by the Eagles. 

Hancock vs Unaka: A three-game home stand for the Indians comes to an end with a region matchup. The Rangers will hope to restart their season with a region win. They will look to continue the fortune of road teams in Sneedville and leave as road warrior winners.

North Greene: BYE

Cosby: BYE

      I agree, 2A is the only class in thet state where the west side of the bracket is tougher, not taking anything away from Marion county at all but they should run that side for years to come

      AE has a lot of new transfers and a very good incoming freshman class to mess with the current players.  That's why I'm saying don't sleep on AE.  Many are thinking they can't get back to their winning ways but I think this 2025 team will open a lot of eyes and let the state know, AE won't be an easy win anymore.

      Correct information on your part Waco regarding your years and wins with no generalities. if Fulmer had not been fired, he would have easily been retired for several  years by now. It’s a new regime at TN participating in the deepest football conference in America.
