I never said that. I said it has affected the team in a big way and it has. Look how many starters have been hurt and out. You can’t tell me that’s not an issue. All of the last few years Tony was there or almost all of them Coalfield beat Oneida pretty bad. This year was a close game with a very very talented Coalfield group. And you’re really gonna say Tony leaving was the reason . Doesn’t make sense, you’d think if that was the case maybe they would have played them a little closer no? Tony is a great guy and I’ve known him for forever, great coach, but him leaving isn’t the reason for Oneida “rapidly” going down hill. Oneida has had many cases of this up and down stuff.

Tony was an outstanding defensive coordinator and a good head coach, but he couldn't leave the offense alone.I watched all those coalfeld and Oneida games the past 3 years Tony was there the problem was in my opinion he wouldn't let the offense get opened up but Tony was a very good head coach. If Tony would have had a good offensive coordinator and let him do his job Oneida would have been Unstoppable.

I have thought long and hard about who Oneida could get to replace May but unless TL could come back and let someone run the offense I don’t know they could get. May being the AD doesn’t help the coaching search lol
