GWAVE1
This is truly some great information guys. How about the location of the State Aggies and Peabody Demonstration clubs back in the 30's. Does anyone have any info when these schools closed ranks? In 1940 Gallatin played Issac Litton at Dudley Field for what was called the Mid-State Title back in those days. The mid-state had a small playoff system that lasted I believe 2 years before the effects of WWII were felt in the local community. Gallatin also played Nashville West at Keyes Stadium in 1941 in front of over 6000 for the Mid-State Title. The teams were chosen by the Licktenhouse Rating system for the playoffs. Gallatin won both games but the 41' game was disputed by Boyce Smith of Springfield.

scout
Four schools closed to form McGavock? Let's see. Donelson and Two Rivers became middle schools. Does that count? Also, I think Pearl and Cohn merged. How am I doing?
