toughest district in AAA

There are probably some districts out there just as tough as District 5AAA but there are few teams if any as tough as Bradley and Cleveland. Then you throw in Rhea County and Cumberland who can beat any team on a given night. McMinn has a team that can compete. Yes, this district may not be the toughest, but there are none any tougher. I would have to agree that Bradley probably has the edge on the other teams with their speed, talent and experience. But by the end of the year there may be some surprises.

16AAA is....NO DOUBT.......

1) West Tn ball is sooooooooooooo loaded, and 16AAA is the cream of the crop.....

2) 5AAA, with Cleveland and Bradley, is very strong this year, and probably the #2 AAA district....

3) 15AAA would be my #3 pick, behind White Station.....

4) 12AAA, Nasvhille Metro is down this year, but normally a very strong district, and will be right there next year....

5) 13AAA is a tiny district, but the trio of Northside, Dyersburg, and JCM is tough.....

6) 9AAA would be next, though this district is not traditionally strong. Smyrna leads the way....

7) 7AAA is consistently strong, and this year is pretty good, behind Oakland, but it is down somewhat.....

8) 14AAA is another strong WEst Tn district, behind Bartlett.....

    • Is coach egghead supposed to be Derek Rang?
    • There are some potentials internal to the school system. Due to timing of this, that may be the route they go. If so, I'd say a few names would be, Brandon Eden, Kyle Gregory, or BJ West. Eden and Gregory have only been assistants at the HS level but may express interest. West has not been on the HS staff but has been HC of the Middle school that last few years and word on the street has been that he is highly interested. There may be others as well.    Going outside of the school system, a few names come to mind: Rennard Woodmore, Adam Keeton, and Josh Hackett. But I have no idea if any would interest.
    • A lot of people wanted him.
    • Sure, we can talk about it if you want to. Do you want to talk about zoning for Oak Ridge over the past 10 years with some kids from west? Lol. I don’t think so. I see your point, especially for a private school that stinks at football, but I’m just saying that you said the running back who is arguably one of the best transfers from TKA that West got is Zoned for West, and that’s just incorrect.
