Dyer County Question

It is supposed to be his last game. He has resigned as of 12/31 under pressure from the school. It is distrubing that nothing from the school or the school board has come out on this issue. Also no word on who the new coach would be.

He does not want to leave and the fans do not want him to leave. I hope that there is something said tonight to address this issue. I plan to be at the game.

Expect the cancellation of all future DC vs. Dyersburg sporting events as long as Sam Miles is at Dyersburg.

Dyer County school board need to stepup and address this issue immediately.

It is the Superintendent of DC schools who asked Butch to Resign. This is NOT what DC FANS want, period. Butch doesn't want it either. It's the Superintendent's fault!! If TSSAA punishes the School for this anyway, DC FANS say let Butch stay. TSSAA has not done anything yet. Someone is getting the cart before the horse, here. This is a small infraction , compared to some others I've heard on these posts. This is something that happened in the summer, why wasn't anything said then. Dyersburg girls had practice (Basketball Camp) in the dead period, and what was done to them? Nothing thats what ,you know why, Sam Miles (Principal of Dyersburg) is on the TSSAA Board. He pulled some string so they could have there way. This whole thing stinks to high heaven.

Is not enough is enough??? This onraging battle between 2 schools in the same county has gotten way out of hand..It's a shame that sporting events as this have taken priority over what's suppose to be building character...what kind of message does this send to the players in any sport...there is no place for it...oh, by the way, look for coach Hopkins to withdraw his resignation and for a long haul in court over this situation..afterall Brentwood Academy did worse and won their court battle...then this would be the end of TSSAA's authority, you think????
