Best in Chattanooga

Who is going to be the best team / player in Chattanooga this year.

Best team will have to be Baylor, CCS, McCallie, ND, and possibly Ooltewah. If Baylor, CCS, or Mccallie go 2-0 or 3-0 against each other then they will be no doubt the top team. Best player is Cory Remillard or Josh Best if he stays healthy. Also John Shanks and Drew Courtney are both great players. Best keeper is Derek Pickett from CSAS.

i think the csas will be better than ooltewah.. i dont know of them returning a lot of there better players exept there goalie and 1 field player. should be a good game to see ccs and csas this year. ooltewah is always overrated.

True, just had to give them some props for almost beating Houston last year, except that Houston had a game the night before and Ooltewah didn't. CCS and CSAS had some great games two years ago. 1-0, 2-1, 2-1, in regular season and then district and region finals. However last year, the two games were quite lopsided, i think if i remember correctly 4-0, and 4-1? CCS has 4 senior starters, 6 juniors, and a sophomore who started last year. Look for them to be tough. But hype and talk does nothing. We had a good time last year, talked alot, and then blew it. So if someone says they're from CCS and they're talking crap, then they're b.s.ing and they aren't. Anyway, look for the best games in the city to be McCallie-Baylor, McCallie-CCS, and McCallie-Baylor II, in that order.

When was the last time a local Chattanooga team, or Tennessee based team for that matter, beat either Baylor of McCallie? 1999? 1998? This might be the year. They graduated a bunch of good seniors. If McCallie is to be beat, an early game would be the best bet. Remillard might still be playing basketball.

Tennesee based public school. Neither has played Bearden or several competitive teams but not for lack of trying. Scheduling hasn't worked out or at least that's the party line.

i think bearden played baylor last year. if it wasnt last year then it was the year before b/c iwent to watch that game. whatever year it was it was 3-0 or 4-0 bearden.

Nope, I was supposed to be on David Ray's team, but he decided to make it an all mccallie team. I played last year for united.
