What's the predictions...

 

Coalfield/Oneida-could be a toss up, depends on which teams for both teams come to play. Who do you think will win?

 

Wartburg Central/Sunbright- Wartburg by 15+

 

Rockwood/Oakdale- Rockwood by 25+

where do you think Harriman will end up?

Boys Side will be Rockwood / Harriman. Do not believe Wartburg can beat Rockwood 2x. The Tigers will be ready. As for predictions I believe when two teams are this even you have to go with the home team.

Here is what I think will happen in Rd 1 tonight in the Devils Den:

 

Oneida will finally edge Coalfield if for no other reason than my wife's cuz Newell Armstrong. Newell, win, lose, or draw, slam one down like you did in practice yesterday son. I like the Ronnie Wilson led Jackets, but....blood comes first. In a squeaker, Oneida by 1pt.

 

Wartburg has way too many weapons for the Melton led Tigers of Sunbright. I would start with Vespie, but I'd leave someone out so....I'm taking Wartburg by 20pts.

 

As for the Rockwood/Oakdale game, I'll say that Rockwood will call the dogs early enroute to a 20-25pt victory.

Coalfield/Oneida I'll take the Jackets in a close one.

Wartburg/Sunbright Coach Napier always has the Tigers ready at tourney time. Wartburg in a close one.

Not bad on the predictions - the Coalfield-Oneida game could have gone either way, but the Indians were too soft on defense and could not get a stop.

 

Wartburg-Rockwood matchup Thursday - what do you think??

I think that the two games are the 2 best matchups that we could have asked for.. I think that Harriman is going to win in the first match up after a half of sluggish play. Then we have Rwood and the 'Dogs ... That game is going to be a wild one I think that Rwood is going to have to make Wartburg play defense in the half court, RWood likes to run, but if they are going to win they are going to have to use the post presence to win.. I think that Rockwood wins 60-56.... Good Luck to all teams in the region!

Rockwood played real sluggish against oakdale but I think Coack K will have them ready to play thursday in what will be a great match up.

 

Harriman will beat Coalfield with ease.
