I have heard there could be a few openings in the Sequatchie Valley next year. Mostly at the high schools in Marion County though. You can bet on one thing though we arent letting coach smith go anywhere in dunlap!

havent you been reading the boards? coaches are obsolete. todays players dont need them anymore. in tomorrows game of basketball, a committee of parents will select the starters, and the players will decide for themselves what to do on the floor. (one hint tho, dont put more than 5 parents on your starter committee if you want to reach any agreement on the lineup).

lazarus, thats obserd, a good team might not need a coach, but a great team does. Franklin's Coach Waller just resigned, there is an opening at Franklin High School for next year.

id have to agree. that post by lazarus reeked of sarcasm. and trust me my freinds, i am no stranger to sarcasm. oh yeah coachin is very necessary. a well coached squad of players with mediocre talent will almost always win over a squad of excellent talents who are uncoachable.

Science Hill may be looking for a new coach. Maybe not after this season, but wait until post-next season. Poe has let the program slip now, and with the way it looks for future players coming up.... SH will not be on top in District 1 for a 3-4 yrs at least. Sh fans will tell you this is a rebuilding year. That's bull! All of their best players (Nick Bradley, DD Hamilton, Julius Bownling) are all seniors with 1 exception, Jerome Odum (Jr.)
