Any predictions on this game? Livingston played a great game in the region finals. They just lost by one point. This game is Saturday night at McMinn Central.

I will go out on limb and say with a balance scoring between the Lady Cats Livingston by 5.

the only way mcminn wins this is with the referees help. McMinn and Walker Valley are overrated every year, because you don't play anyone except eachother. but hey i hope you do win so we can beat ya'll again this year in the state! Go Lady Bluuuuuuuueeeeeee Devils of Jackson County high! Your 3 time DEFENDING STATE CHAMPION! 4 PEAT :)

please pull up central's season schedule/record.......is the best tournament they can find really right here competing with polk county/sequoyah/csas???? Come on, go play somebody day in and day out and quit worrying about the win/loss record.....isn't the real goal to make it past the first round of the state tournament????

For anyone who wants to lessen the strength of the McMinn Central schedule please notice that there are 13 games where the Chargerettes were matched up against teams that will play Saturday night for a chance to go to Murfreesboro. Their combined record in these 13 games is 11-2, including three victories against AAA substate teams. Overrated??? I think not.

If Livingston comes out strong, everyone scoring, with Beechboard at the top of her game...They can win it! Let's just hope they don't lead the whole game and GIVE IT to McMinn like we did Jackson County last night...Oh, well...JC loses 2 or 3 starters next year...We return 4...I can't wait!

For Devilfanatic and his/her comments about the Oliver Springs/McMinn Central game, please note the second matchup of the two teams and understand the fact that McMinn Central led by as much as 50 and eventually won by 42. Do not judge a team, like McMinn Central, that has a combined 5 losses in two seasons of basketball by one loss on the road in January to a team, who again they beat by 42 and also who finds themselves in the substate today.

    • 20 but had 5-6 not dressed every game. It went down towards the end due to injuries and obviously only 15 got to dress for the state tournament. Then, they only lost 2 from this year and gain 8 from the middle school for next year
    • As somebody mentioned before, this is going to result in a massive lawsuit, can you imagine professional "educators" actually having the conversation about getting "the bad kids" out of the high school?  And the head coach asking directly to change grades, gets turned down, comes back again and gets it approved?  This is unbelievable.  In addition to the lawsuit, the state Department of Education is going to come down extremely hard on this.  WYSH is on the war path.  There could be dozens more lose their jobs by the time this is over.  And yeah the real shame is the kids being affected that literally had nothing to do with this and actually worked hard to earn their grades.
    • I've heard Powell from someone who talked to him. I saw the kid two days ago and I should of pulled over and talked with him and wished him well where ever he goes. It will be a ale of a loss for us because I don't believe we have anyone in the stable good as him from what I seen in the spring.
    • I would have to think that the firing of the 2 teachers is just the beginning of future moves.  If not, it is woefully short.  If the AC school board thinks that the damage is just limited to Clinton, they are sadly mistaken.  Any outsider would view the whole school system as suspect, and rightly so.
    • Yeah. AC brass walked in to the building at Clinton and suggested that the principal start changing grades.  Honesty, the notion that anybody at AC was involved is just idiocy.  The ones who are hurt most are the kids who weren't involved in the cheating, but still are being penalized by college admission decisions and scholarship consideration simply because they went to a school that was involved in such a scandal.
