Harriman won I think its was 49-45 nither team played well,but Harriman is going to State thats all that matters.I doubt if either team shot 20% from the field.GO LADY DEVILS...

Way to go Lady Devils. Down by 7 in the fourth quarter then come back to win. Ashley Fuqua scored 11 points in the final period. Not bad for a sophomore coming off the bench.

Goose if Ashley Fuqua starts and plays whole game,I dont even think its close.And what were the shooting % for both teams? Did Little even score? Also thought Brit Webb played a good game. GO LADY DEVILS

Don't know about %'s, but Little scored just three. I think everyone stepped up at the end. Stephanie played like a warrior in the final quarter. April made some big passes to Ashley and kristie and Brittany made sure they didn't turn it over.

April Little played about the worst game I have ever seen, She couldn't hit a barn 3 feet away. Then she couldn't run down the court with out fouling someone. Why did she keep throwing up shots when she couldn't hit a one. :confused:

Yea but when the game was tied 42-42 who got two straight assists to Ashley Fuqua. It was No. 24.

April's job, however, is to shoot when she's open. She could have just as easily had 15-20 if she was in the groove.

Glad to see a Roane Co. Team going to the State. Harriman needs to play better ball, they will be going up against better quality teams in boro. I agree Little played a bad game, also Hedgecoth and K.Pollit did to, count the turn overs, sure they came through at the end, but if they played a good team they would have been eaten alive. Fuqua played a good game and so did Webb. Webb is a great ball-handler, She doesn't get enough credit, look at her assist all year. She keeps the team together, needs to shoot more. The team rebounded a lot better but they need to go more inside and stop shooting those 20 foot jump shot. Got to play more team ball, had a couple of turn overs by not passing the ball to the open player.

I agree that if Harriman doesn't throw it all over the place in the second quarter that they could've possibly put the game away by halftime.

I don't really mind if they miss the long jumpers because they hit the boards so hard. Sometimes I think just throw it up there and go get it.

Coach Cordell praised Webb and Pollitt ball-handling last night. He said they didn't give the ball up any in the fourth quarter and when you're coming from behind, you cannot afford to give it up.

Hancock not a good team???? Harriman could have put the game away by halftime???? You guys were not watching the same game I was. If Hancock has 3 or 4 less turnovers and goes to their zone D earlier, Hancock wins by 10!!!
