how can you leave a team that went to the state final four out of your top ten? ooltewah still has loads of talent and a pitcher that throws some serious gas that didn't even get to play last season. i feel that your underestimating a team that could very well be something else this year.

M'Town West lost 6-4 to a weak Jefferson County squad.

 

Knox Central is one I would add to this list.

Daniel Boone? That is crazy, what about Doybns-Bennett? They are 3-0,have outscored Sullivan North, Sullivan East and TN High a combined 30-5, and are a traditional power. Give the Tribe some respect.

Morristown West was without three starters. They are 3-1 without them.

Gotta consider Knox West and William Blount. Both schools finished ahead of South Doyle in the district last year. West split with South Doyle in the fall when South Doyle was almost at full strength. West also split with Farragut in the regular season last year.

 

Some questions may be anwswered tonight (weather permitting). West is at Maryville.

Maryville beat West 7-3 behind a strong pitching performance from Jacob Holt. West had a 2-0 lead before surrendering 4 runs to Maryville in the bottom of the 3rd. Maryville belongs on anyone's list of top E.Tennessee teams. Don't count out West though. The season is young. West and South-Doyle are scheduled tomorrow (3/19).

Seymour has to be one of the best teams in east Tennessee

Seymour lost their home opener to Rutledge...so I'd put Rutledge as one of the top teams before Seymour.

Guys Volunteer should be included in this they are 5-1 only losing to sullivan north 3-2 and they have outscored all the teams combined 54-10 in 6 games the top 3 hitters and the number 5 hitter are all hitting over .500 they are a very good team!!!

can anyone give a list in order? just curious.

also, when you say East Tennessee you are including Chattanooga right? it seems to me that very good teams like Baylor, McCallie, Soddy Daisy, etc. are left out.
