TN best passing teams

I have a question for those who have lived in TN for awhile or know of any High School's who really have pro style passing offenses. I have recently moved here and it seems that most teams run the veer or option.

 

I have noticed Boyd Buchanon and Ezell harding throw a lot. Who else?

Thanks Coach DG I didnt know Maryville did I thought they were option attack. Did Chad Pinnington through the ball a lot while at Webb. Who is the best Pro style QB to come out of TN?

Maryville runs some of the most simple but effective pass routes. Yea, I believe that Chad did throw the ball a good bit. We have scrimmaged Webb, but he was already gone. They run the Wing-T now, but I am not sure what they ran when he was there.

Melrose in Memphis throws the ball a lot. They open up the offense like the NFL. Melrose wins many games based simply on their offensive style.

Obion County Central has been a passing team for the last couple of years with pretty good success last season QB threw for 3179

yards and 37 touchdowns

cradd4 those are impressive numbers did the QB sign with anyone or is he still playing. Does anyone know what Andy Kelly passed for in High School? Isnt he from Rhea county?

The QB at Obion Central was a junior, he also passed for around 2200 yards his sophomore year

Brentwood was always known for passing a lot, but you kind of have to base your offense around what you have to work with. This year they had more talent to keep the ball on the ground. In the past they had more talent throwing and receiving. In 1998 Bill Whittemore ( now starting QB for the University of Kansas) threw for over 3300 yds. With a 444 yd game against Gallatin. So I guess you just have to find those schools that carry the talent to throw not just the coach that wants to. I'd say Brentwood, Maryville, Ezell and maybe Oakland.

Greenback. Last year their QB threw 46 TD's i belive.
