When will the local Knoxville teams be in spring practice? Central, Fulton, Powell, Halls, Carter, Bearden, Farragut, West, Karns, South Doyle, Austin East, and Gibbs. Will they all play spring games?

AE starts practicing April 29th. They will start position meeting April 21st for 3 days.

If Halls expects to win with the "fun-n-gun", they will need two things: An Offensive line coach and an Offensive line coach

Did not know that you could have position meetings. My husband just told me on the phone that any meetings you have must only be weight room or conditioning workouts. Any other type of meeting except to pass out/fit equipment is not legal.

Maybe this is the reason Montgomery County schools are way behind the times.

Team meeting instead of position meeting. From my understanding they will discuss time of practice, days of practice, format of practice, and hand out equipment.

Does anyone know if that QB out of Knoville "Dickey" is being recruited & where he is going. I'm not sure which high school he goes too.

The QB that you are talking about is Dylan Dickey, UTAD Doug Dickey's grandson. He played for Farragut HS last year and as far as I know will be there again next year. I would imagine that since he has a well know grandfather, he will get more than his share of schools that would be interested in him. He can hum the rock and has a pretty good field presence.

Dylan Dickey is horrible, and I'm not just saying that because he goes to Farragut. He has a weak arm, is undersized, and can't run. Plus, his throwing form is terrible. He can't use his name to play in a game.
