sad news from Jackson County

I just heard that Jackson County senior Alex Cassetty was killed in a car accident last night. He was a starter on the basketball and baseball teams. Lets keep his family in our prayers.

I believe they were cousins, but I'm not absolutely sure on that.

I played baseball with Alex last year, and the year before.

If you didn't know him you really missed out. He was one of the nicest people that you will ever meet. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

This is not a good day in Jackson County, Alex was a bright, smart and kind young man. He always had a smile on his face and always had something nice to say, was always laughing and cutting up with all of us, he will be deeply missed by this community, those who knew him were lucky as he was one of a kind.
