tlove13
Has anyone heard what happened to these guys? In 92' these were the best 2 tailbacks in the state in my opinion with schools drooling over them. I never heard from Witt once he was finished at Clinton. I knew Cozart was at UT for a spring, and had tryouts with the Rams, but hadn't heard in 5 years.
clipper
Isn't Cozart a big Hollywood actor now?
shooter5
Scotty is back in Clinton. He was one of the best running backs that every came out of Eastern Tennessee. If he had his grades when he graduated high school, he would have been a star at U.T. They wanted him but they send him off to Idaho to a community college but he just didn't like it out there and quit.
FLMS
Travis Cozart was prbably the most highly recuited player to come out of East Tennesse since Leroy Thompson. The guy was an amazing talent! Hespent his first two years at Coffeville Community College in Kansas and was an Juco All american reciever. He returned to Tennessee and was pushing Jay Graham for the starting spot before being dismissed from the team. He spent a year in the Canadian football league as a running back for the Shreaveport Pirates. He made practice squad for he Miami Dolphins and was doing well for the St. Louis Rams before getting into some more trouble. He has spen several years in prision and is currently back in Lenoir City. Could have been a top 5 draft pick.
TheLollipopKid
The "actor" Cozart is Cylk Cozart from Karns-Knox County. He was the the one who played with Wesley and Woody in "White Men Can't Jump". I played ball against him about a year ago in Knoxville so he may still be in town.
