Richard and Reginald Delk recognition coming......

Richard and Reginald Delk have already started the Summer out with a bang, and are two of the hot names around recruiting circles. They are currently both Top 40 on basketballphenoms.com, and Top 75 on Prepstars, as well as in the database on hoopmasters.com. I am proud of these two outstanding young men as they are finally starting to recieve the recognition they deserve. (and please no Tyler-Delk discussion on this thread)...

Rating players is based on opinion, the more players you see the better opinion you have, Gomab does a good job, if nothing else it's created some good conversation.

I have never seen the delk twins play but from what i hear and read about them, they are gonna be speacial players. To anyone that has seen them play, do you think that they have the potential to go on and have as good of careers as their uncle. Basketball must run in their family, wasnt their a delk who was a bball player that was pretty good. maybe tonys niece.

speaking of uncle tony, he helped the celtics polish off the pacers tonite with 15 pts. tony is playing some excellent basketball right now scoring 21,19 and 15 points in the last 3 games for the celtics.

 

in a few more years we just may have a few more delks to cheer for in the nba.... right gomab?

Yes the Delk twins are awesome, and they are great boys to work with. I am a graduate assistant on their high school team and I really enjoy working with them. They could really go far and do things like their uncle is doing now. Yes the have a sister Geniveve Delk who used to play for North Side Lady Indians, and now she is at South Alabama Univ. starting and averaging about 10 points in the Sun Belt Conference. Many say that Richard and Reginald's father was better than his brother Tony. They say could hit some great shots. He went to Lambuth University in Jackson. The only thing that hurt him was that he played before the 3-point line was instated and he was a 3-point shooter. (He is older than Tony.)
