Message Folders

For all you PLUS members who used the PM feature on the old board regularly, you may need to check your inbox and delete some of the old messages. I very rarely cleaned up and deleted my PM's on the old board. When they all transfered to the new board, my inbox was full (actually running over!).

 

Clean them up to make room for new ones.

There is a NEW FEATURE on this board that allows you to save SENT PM's much like your E-mail account(s). This takes up memory as well, so I suggest that you go into your Control Panel and then edit your controls as follows:

 

1. Go to the top of the page and click "MY CONTROLS."

2. Click "GO TO INBOX"

3. You can edit how many messages your PM INBOX will archive at one time and how many days before it deletes the old messages. You can also delete them yourself.

 

REMEMBER... everytime you send a personal message the software stores a copy of it in the archive SENT file unless you tell the software not to do so (see at the bottom of each PM before you click SEND).
