Class 5A: Region 1 Favorites

Who will win the Dobyns-Bennett vs Sullivan North Game...isn't this usually a breather for DB? Is North better, can they challenge DB at all?? Do they have the talent they had last year? That big receiver? Outstanding lines....they have to be the favorites in 5A Region 1. Jeff County is on the rebound, but they may be another year or two away from challenging the Indians....Sevier County if they have a passer is dangerous with Steve Brewer calling the plays...whats the take?? Who is the power in Upper ET???

This won't be no breather for D-B, this North team is talented and very well coached.They will give D-B all they want and then some........These two teams haven't met in years,North has been a good team, but there on the verge of something now.. :justwrestle:

Well its nice that you all compare the results from last year to this years season, but it seems that you all havent looked at one of the old favorites Science Hill, we are gonna win state, and Im really mad that you all dont see that happeninig!!! Well See You At The Spurrrrrior Field!!!!

Some of you DB fans hold stuff against Jeff county. I mean you all have alot of fans but not a great team this year. Yeah youve beat Jeff for the last couple of years but that really dont mean your goin to this year. From what I hear it seems like your goin to have some probs beatin a couple of teams so I wouldnt get to smart.

Hands down huh? After seeing the North game.....they might need to invest in a running game.

jeff co will destroy DB this yr (by 4 or more tds). jeff returns 15 starters from last yrs team that lost to DB in the qtr finals 26-15. the game was 19-15 going into the 4th qtr and could have went either way. DB returns no more than 8 starters from last yrs team.  jeff has tremendous speed at the skill positions and is very hungry to end DB's 10 yr reign over them. from top to bottom they will field a much faster, stronger, and talented team than DB. stranger things have happened in football, but after week four on friday night jeff should leave no doubt that they are by far the better team this yr.

Jefferson County will get absolutely demolished by Dobyns Bennett. I know everything, so if my calculations are correct the score of the game will be 42-7
