417 bermuda? WTH? When the mighty bobcats rolled into carter nation last season for our usual playoff tuneup, that field was a mess. It looked like the carter community had held it's weekly tractor pull in the middle of the football field. It looks to me as if the people in that community could care less about their football program and it's future. Then again, there has to be a vanderbilt in every league, doesn't there?

billy boy, you sound like you're in the know in the carters community. I heard they had a big turnaround on their staff from last year. What gives? Do they have the proper staff in place to coach all the supposed talent i read about on here?

goat deuce i am in the know everywhere, but to answer your question, I do not know what the coaching staff is going to do with all the talent,we will find out, and as far as loosing some coaches - that will hurt our recruiting as much as anything, not really the x's and o's

Yes the stadium looks like a disappointment. I know Coach Woods had to be expecting or wanting more. Who are the assistants at Carter now? I didn't know there was a big turnover in assistant coaches, I heard the Coach Woods was only allowed to bring one coach with him.

Check out the coaches in Murphy Fair. I know one coach left to coach back at his almamater AE. Not sure anyone else left.

your pretty dern funny. my only question about the stadium is does it still smell like raw sewage on the press box side. i noticed carter stood on the other sideline.

There is nothing like the stinch of raw sewage on a Friday night. It definitley played to the advantage of the Hornets, many times the opposing teams players could be seen gagging and coughing when on that end of the field. I miss those glory days.
