Who has a good running game goin into 03

I admit to being biased, and have not seen every team in the state, but I would like to see a team with a better running game than Brentwood Academy in 2003.

 

David Holbert...arguably the most recruited back in the state.

Theo Townsend...one of the quicker tailbacks around.

Tyler Griffin...he will prove to be one of the very best scrambling QBs befeore all is said and done.

 

These guys running behind what is now a very experienced, very strong and athletic o-line.

Boyd Buchannan should have a great running game. Tailback matt peardon is fast with lightning moves. Fullback Matt Henly runs like a bull.

Especially with passing game we have. That should give Corey & Spencer lots of running room.

Since Sammy Eddings got most of the carries last year and is no longer on the team this year. I think Josh Gregory, #28, for Lincoln County could have a good year. He looked pretty good against Smyrna in the spring. He is a strong runner with 4.5 speed. Hopefully, he will take some of the load off of Edmiston at QB and give the Falcons a more balanced offensive attack. If turnovers can be eliminated in 2003, LCHS could finally get back up to the level that most people are used to seeing them on. Good luck to everyone in the upcoming season!

blackman will have a good running game, kenny merideth and greg miles have been fullback/tailback together since 8th grade, plus they are very strong smart runnners, the line is new but is getting better each day

It's good to hear that about BLACKMAN leadoff. I'm trying to tell Oakland that but they don't believe it. Every year were always counted out. This year is notting new. We'll just have to turn some heads i guess... Hey leadoff do you play for BLACKMAN?

well when you only return one starter on defense.......... anyways, i am not doubting that blackman will have a good run game, maybe decent but not good. not on the other hand, oakland's run game is what you would call good.
