Smyrna will absolutely spank Blackman this year. Smyrna finally has speed at virtually every position and Blackman is one deminsional they can not throw.

NO RICO TO SAVE BLACKMAN THIS YEAR!

IT WILL BE A 3 TO 4 TOUCHDOWN WIN FOR SMYRNA

BLACKMAN IS YOUNG WITH A GOOD LOOKING FUTURE BUT THEY WILL HAVE TO TAKE THEIR LUMPS THIS YEAR.

Your a complete idiot. Havn't you people from Symrna learded ya'll leason yet? Every year its the same thing. You guys say oh Symrna is the real deal, Symrna will win state. Well buddy we just put on a show against Brentwood, its alot more than you guys could've done. I'll give you guys this you hung in there against Riverdale, but once again you lose to Gallatin at YOUR HOUSE. You say Smyrna will win by 3 to 4 thouchdowns na buddy NOT SO FAST MY FRIEND. Frist you guys gotta worry about stopping the run. Kenny will pound you guys all night, and Phillip is are ex-Rico, he's pretty much just as fast. If you guys can stop the run you will have a chance, but i do not see that happing in this one. Another added factor it's at our house the INFERNO, and the place will be loud and so will the band. :D

I agree with ya P. Obviously this kid is just someone who jumps on the band wagon WHEN smyrna starts to win. Or just another Smyrna punk trying to start something.

First of all, ok maybe Smyrna is good this year, its about time seing as how much talent they have had the past years.

Second of all Smyrna will have a hard time stopping the run, remember Kenny hits just as hard or harder than Shanno, anyone that saw him against Brentwood will tesify to that.

Third you have to come to the Inferno, a hard place to play. We have homefield advantage.

Fourth Wolke cant win the game for yall. He will be pressured and throw into interceptions. Our players wont allow any tip balls this week, we learned our lesson.

Fifth Blackman leads the series 2-0 that right there shows you have no room to say something completly stupid as you just did.

Sixth We have what may be the game changing players in Marcus Locke and Josh Dennis. Locke is a freshmen and teams are already scared to kick or punt to him and Josh Dennis is capable of kicking 50+ yd field goals in the game Fri. he missed a 54 ydr wide left but had plenty of leg to get it there. IMAGINE THAT SMYRNA WE HAVE A RELIABLE KICKER. BUT WE WONT GET ONTO KICKERS IN THIS SERIES NOW WILL WE.

lets go 82cat i am ready to argue with yall Dawgs.

Look guys, everyone counted Blackman out last week. Most people said a 45+ point win. People said we couldnt defend against the run against a bigger bruin team, well we did. People said that Brentwood was going to throw all over us, well we didnt give up to many passing yards and the QB was under pressure all game. If one or two of those tipped balls would have bounced the other way, Blackman would have won this game and it wouldnt have been too close. Smyrna fans talk smack all year. The bulldogs arent even a team, they are a group of individuals playing.

POWER-SHANON (our d goes against power everyday in Kenny)

SPEED-JOHNSON (dont think we dont have speed)

THROW-WOLKE (Wolke cant throw when he is under pressure, and we pressured the Bruin's QB and they had bigger and stronger lineman) :D:)

Boy, wish I could see this one. It ought to be a good one. I know that Blackman wants this one really bad. Can Smyrna pull it off after 2 heart-breaking losses in a row?? Didn't some Bulldawgs get banged up against Riverdale and then some more get banged up at Gallatin??? I need to hear an injury update before I decide this one.

    • Deja vu all over again, 7 yrs apart. SMDH Does anybody talk to each other?
    • OK, well, that’s because two quarterbacks can’t start. That’s football 101. The main quarterback won the starting job, so he was on varsity, and the Seymour transfer did not win the starting job. He played some varsity. He was mainly junior varsity, and he balled out when healthy, so for the starting quarterback who’s been starting varsity since his freshman year, if you have any form of proof that he’s gotten worse, somehow, whether that means stats or whatnot, please feel free to share.
    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
