BLACKMAN PASSING OFFENSE

11 COMPLETIONS AND 4 INTERCEPTIONS FOR THE WHOPPING SUM OF 115 YARDS AND 1 TOUCHDOWN! THIS 115 YARDS INCLUDES ONE 55 YARD PASS.

WHICH MEANS THE OTHER 10 WENT FOR 60 YARDS?STAT WISE THIS PUTS THEM JUST BEHIND THE SINGLE C BULLDOGS IN THE SMYRNA REC LEAGUE!

IM TELLING YOU PUT IT IN THE BOOK SMYRNA WILL SPANK BLACKMAN IF WE HAVE TO PLAY JULIA CHILDS AT QB.

Dog, do you not realize that our best defense is our offense. We pound the ball the whole game and wear your defense down. The last time Smyrna played someone with a great running game was Gallatin, and well didnt they loose? I mean come on you have a Senior QB in Wolke and we are starting a sophomore. AND WHEN HAS BLACKMAN EVER BEEN A PASSING TEAM? i BELIEVE WE HAVE BEAT SMYRNA 2 YEARS IN A ROW BY RUNNING THE BALL, RIGHT? BTW dont talk about Single C bulldogs cause i am a coach.

BTW i heard that Wolke has been seen in town and nothing seems to be wrong. This could all be a hoax by Smyrna to try to get Blackman to let their guard down.

I heard that the "supposed broken foot" has no cast on it. Sounds llike a desperate Smyrna ploy to me. Thank goodness that Alsup is no dummy.

It's good to know we have support. . .

If it is a hoax however, that shows just how much class the Smyrna coach, team, and fan's all have: To make up an injury to get a team to "maybe" let their guard down.

But I can assure you, we have not.

I just came from the Smyrna and Blackman freshman game were the blaze stomped the dawgs 36-20, And whats funny the game still didn't even look that close.

But anyway after the game the dawgs showed their true colors. The game was over and the final was 36-20, and the players were still talking. Some players were like thats ok Blackman stinks, and coaches were saying its ok they better hope we don't meet them in the playoffs. See this is the chacter that the coches from Smyrna want their players to have. It's the same thing every year. Smyrna comes out talking trash to anybody and everybody, and what happens in the end they get beat. You idiots from Smyrna wouldn't believe how stupid yaw looked tonight. You really showed your true colors and it was "YELLOW". :(

Now about the Wolke's issue he was at the game limping around always complaining about his foot. So i really think there is something wrong with his foot. I mean why would he be put it in the DNJ if it wasn't true. So know if it isn't true and it was all a big hiest then all of murfressboro and smyrna will know smyrna true colors and their class. :justwrestle:

SMYRNA WINS EASY AND WINS BIG BOOK IT!

WE CAN PUT ALL 11 IN THE BOX IF WE NEED TO SO THERE WILL NOT BE ANY RUNNING GAME. TO PUT IT IN SIMPLE TERMS THE QB WILL HAVE TO BEAT US AND I DON'T SEE THAT HAPPENING

IM SURE SMYRNA HAD TO PUT IN EXTRA WORK AT DEFENSIVE BACK ON CATCHING THE BALL SO THEY WON'T DROP SURE INTERCEPTIONS.

Hey BlazeP, you are so easy to pass judgement on the character of Smyrna's coaches and players and you are entitled to your opinion, but Why don't you play football? You have a chance I am sure, then you could show those players how 'YELLOW' they really are.

I always thought that "yellow" meant cowardly or scared. They may very well be boastful, I don't know, but they do have the guts to get out there and play and work hard. It is much easier to sit in the stands or on a computer and dog them than it is to get out there and work and play.

good repley stop N go, too much trash talking on both sides. my dad always said if you dont have anything good to say keep your trap shut. i think both sides need to learn this. the game will be interesting if wolke doesnt start it could be a close game, but i think bulldogs win. i hope anyone talking trash has a bad game they deserve it.

    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
    • An FYI: To see how an opponent has done against another opponent since 2001- go to the game by clicking on one of the teams. Click the G beside the game. For example, Milan: The info will show you the previous matchups and other info.
    • All these college signees went yo other schools for 3 years, were getting college offers then transferred to Bearden. It’s not like this staff did much to develop them.    The BBall coaches son and the Seymour transfer were some of the most talented QBs in the region, and you guys developed them into QBs who might complete one pass a game.
