Just curious about something. Is Swafford allowed to coach at another school since his reassignment? I know some coaches teach at one school and help coach at another school so was just curious if this is a possibility or is his coaching days over in Knox County?

Supposedly Swafford cannot coach for one year in Knox County(so he said). He was also the girl's softball coach and he lost that position too

How could anyone who has been around football in Knox County for the past few years want to hire him? The only thing that I could see happening is Carter hiring him in a couple of years when they run Woods off.

I could tell when we scrimaged them this summer that Swafford was gonna do something stupid this year. He grabbed players by the facemask and cursed them out loud in front of children on the sidelines. He also allowed his players to taunt and curse also...heck it seemed like he was encouraging them to do so. I knew he would get his. Looks like someone was right after all huh....splainhornet.

Why would Carter run Woods off? He has taken them from the basement to the playoffs, where Carter has never been. I would say that as long as he wants to stay they will keep him. I thought that Swafford might go join John Paul or the WWE. They all have the same kind of class.

3 and 7 IS still the basement. A 3 and 7 team making it to the play-offs just proves one thing, "your play-off system is out-of-whack"!

Our playoff system is designed for one thing - to make the TSSAA money. Those 1st place v. 4th place games are ridiculous. I say any coaches out there with any nads needs to drop out of the TSSAA and form their own association. What's the TSSAA good for anyway? All they do is make ridiculous rules which no one follows and collect money from member schools. AS for Carter improving under Woods, I think 4Afan has a point. Are they a premier team? No. However, they're not the perennial doormat they were in the late 90's when they had idiots for coaches.
