Hey tex, bow and scruggs are doin great. Their both doing well on D and scruggs is doing good on O, but bowman threw his first and hopefully last incompletion the other night. And xtremeloco, I can promise you that we are not looking at the 3-3 record. Alcoa is a young but good team, and we all know that. Right now this is our biggest game because it is our next game. We need to keep taking it one at a time and we will be ok. We cant overlook anyone because, we are the target right now and everyone is aiming at us. Rockwood will not change anything, they will stick with what got them this far. Im picking the Tigers for 3 reasons. 1-been in big games 2-more experienced and mature 3-there leadership. Go Tigers.

Uh oh men. It's time to see if the jungle cats can weather the storm. The tornados come into town trying to decimate high standing tiger, but don't over look this Rwood bunch. We'll be as ready as ever to play. We got a break last week, and we needed it. After 3 emotional games the Bledsoe County game was a much needed respite for the Tigers. Alcoa is coming into this one with six games under their belt compared to rwood's 5, but they may not have the same confidence as the tigers. They know they can play with the best of em and this should be a crazy game. Quite possibly it could be the Tiger's first OT game, but definitely not a Rwood loss. I look for the Rwood D to be as prepared as ever and wonder if that extra game will take its toll on the young tornados.

I seriously do not think that Rwood will stop Alcoa from scoring. Alcoa Offense gets better everytime they step on the field. I hope for Rwood's sake they double team #1, he is a monster on offense. I'm not saying that it can't happen, but don't be suprised if Alcoa puts up a lot on the old scoreboard. I think this game will be very close, if for nothing else the speed/talent that Alcoa has. Look for a last drive to decide this,( which RHS would have the advantage), or an OT or 2. Anyway, good luck to both.

No need for a double team... Acarp i think Besson can handle any reciever in that region man to man. Is alcoa a run first team? if so rockwoods front seven is tough, quick, and big...(for 2A). i trust they can stop the run. Offense is the Question...Wing T, NOT GOOD hard to runi think.... Rockwood With a Power I would be preety scairy i would like to see that but its not gonna happen. But either way i say find ONE back not seven or how many they are giving carries and pound the ball. also they could stand to air it out a little more with Payne at QB and Beeson at Wideout and a couple of good pass catchin tight ends in reed and riddle

swil50RW,

The last thing I remember, Alcoa could run or pass first and they could do them both really well. However, they do like to run first when possible. Look, I know that Beeson is good, I played against him last year; however, this kid(#1) has speed, size, and moves that region 2aa is not used to seeing. If he contains him the whole night, Rockwood will be in good shape. Still yet, RHS better not forget about #2, he can run and he LOVES to stiffarm. Just ask about 5 OS players who got it on one play. Anyway, as always we will have to wait to find out who can guard who this Friday.

    • When she starts farting around with the football team the powers in Maryville will run her out of town on a rail and everyone connected with letting her in the door. You saw what happened when Alcoa's radio announcer thought he was coming to Maryville, the people rose up and stopped it.
    • 20 but had 5-6 not dressed every game. It went down towards the end due to injuries and obviously only 15 got to dress for the state tournament. Then, they only lost 2 from this year and gain 8 from the middle school for next year
    • As somebody mentioned before, this is going to result in a massive lawsuit, can you imagine professional "educators" actually having the conversation about getting "the bad kids" out of the high school?  And the head coach asking directly to change grades, gets turned down, comes back again and gets it approved?  This is unbelievable.  In addition to the lawsuit, the state Department of Education is going to come down extremely hard on this.  WYSH is on the war path.  There could be dozens more lose their jobs by the time this is over.  And yeah the real shame is the kids being affected that literally had nothing to do with this and actually worked hard to earn their grades.
    • I've heard Powell from someone who talked to him. I saw the kid two days ago and I should of pulled over and talked with him and wished him well where ever he goes. It will be a ale of a loss for us because I don't believe we have anyone in the stable good as him from what I seen in the spring.
    • I would have to think that the firing of the 2 teachers is just the beginning of future moves.  If not, it is woefully short.  If the AC school board thinks that the damage is just limited to Clinton, they are sadly mistaken.  Any outsider would view the whole school system as suspect, and rightly so.
