Ultimatefan
I have no problem with OR being the favorite, but I don't think this friday will determine 1 & 2.
BrotherJim
Sorry WaCo - I was merely trying to think of the more active posters from upper ET. Didn't mean to imply similarity in content or attitude.
accarp2614
I still say, Until a team can really contain OR running backs they won't get beat again. I say OR wins in a relatively close one... OR-25 MMC-17 ACCARP
2Good4u
Everyone knows the Region 1 is superior to 2, the playoffs show what happens when they play. Jeff Co beat McMinn,Ooltewah Db beat Oak Ridge The games speak for themselves, the bottom feeders don`t matter
zhar
The O.R. & MMC game will not decide the Region 2-5A champ. We are in the toughest half of our schedule and WB, Farragut, Ooltewah, SD will all have a say. MMC is the game at hand this Friday night. The others do not matter at this point, they will come in due time. O.R. 35 MMC 14 zhar from O.R. Roll Wildcats
boyfromsi
Here are some links for the last games played by both teams: McMinn County Daily Post - Athenian Oak Ridge Oak Ridger
krenzel
Soddy Daisy?? Strong? The Daisy's have not beaten 1 team this year with a winning record. The 1 team they played with a winning record, William Blount, they lost too. To the Govenors? That is not strong. Tell me how many teams that Oak Ridge has beaten have a winning record. Do the same for McMinn County. As you will discover, Oak Ridge has played one team with a winning record--and they lost...sound familiar? McMinn is the only team of the three (Oak Ridge, McMinn, and Soddy-Daisy) to have beaten a team with a winning record. You can't criticize Soddy-Daisy for losing their only game to a team with a winning record when Oak Ridge has done exactly the same thing. So much for logic. bud
I am going to say Oak Ridge by 21. They are too explosive. Their running game could be the best in Tennessee. Edited September 30, 2003 by bud
Ultimatefan
Krenzel you make too much sense for this crowd. I think OR will win but I'm pulling for Mcminn.
tcareuwithme
ok ok ok we did get beat by DB oh well we whipped them all over kingsport the first half. You dont go to Db and put on 21 points in the first half and not be a good team. im not sayiny anything but this dont count us out ever, cause thats when we will make u pay....................... HotSauce11
whipping them in the first half means nothing. soddy only got beat on one play! one play not the whole second half, just one break down on special teams and they are 4-1 rather than 5-0! but oh well that's football and stuff like that happens! anyway, i like mcminn in this one. just a gut feeling!
