I will afgee that Neil Price of MTSU via Morristown East via East Ridge Middle school is the BEST "young" announcer there is out there

 

BUT the best announcer ever in the history of the world regardless of the area or the level or the age of the announcer -is WGRV BOBBY RADER he is without a question the best anywhere anytime anypalce

I am not going to say he is the best in the business, but I have got to put a plug in for my man Maurice Grief in Rockwood.

 

Starting his 50th year behind the mic, yes...50th year, Maurice is the kind of man every community loves to have. He is dependable...and he does his job. He is also the kind of guy who is responsible for selling season tickets, and he does a super job, as well as organizing several of the chili suppers, etc. raising money for various charitable organizations.

 

They named the pressbox after him a couple of years ago, and he deserves it. He is a true Tiger and deserves a pat on the back by every Rockwood Tiger fan.

I think Steve Bray does a very good job at Smith County. Also, I like the guy at Trousdale. He's very entertaining.

Well I tell ya, I've been to Unaka twice for games, and I have been wonderfully entertained by the PA announcer. Don't know his name, but as a visitor you go away feeling you just left home. As down home as can be, and hiliarious too!

I would have to say that one of the best announcers would be Coalfield's Marty Maston.

I'm fairly impressed by Kevin Acres in Oneida, he's pretty good at the facts, mixes good music, and laughs at himself when he makes mistakes. Can't ask for much more.
