Franklin 3 Brentwood 2

Varsity Football, JV Football, twice in Freshman Football, and twice in soccer and all in just a handful of weeks.... It's just too good to be true.

 

The Lady Rebels and The Lady Bruins came out playing hard from the first touch and never let up. Big Crowd, lot of tense spirit just a great match with Franklin appearing to be in control most of the match, but ever mindful of the Bruins ability for a quick strike, especially from Kate Hughes. A physical match but not too rough, referees did a great job of calling the match, despite the constant moaning from Brentwood.

Franklin definetly did not control the game. I was there. It was an even game with both teams having a ton of shots on the goal. It was a great game to watch really exciting.

I must say that Franklin had more opportunities on goal than Brentwood did. There was even one that I myself thought (and saw that) it was in, for Franklin. I was guessing the Ref. was out of position, but hey the game is over, Franklin won it fair and square. Good luck the rest of the way Rebs!

Being a Franklin defender and all.... Brentwood did not have as many shots on goal as Franklin did. the last time these two teams played there were more shots but, Brentwood still didnt have as many as Franklin. It was an all and all good game. Good luck Lady Bruins against Hendersonville.
