This game will be debated for years but there is really nothing to debate because if you watched the game on Comcast you would really see how bad the officials were. Just like I have said many times on this board, the officials in high school sports are not has good has the players. When you watch the Super 7 play it is like watching small college football and the officials are not able to keep up. Maybe the Super 7 teams need to get OVC officials for their games because the crews have been bad all year.

BA attempted the game-tying FG in regualtion as the clock was winding down (they had no TO's left). Not only did the clock CLEARLY hit 00:00, but there were several BA players who weren't set. It should have been game over, at best, and illegal procedure, at worst. Absolute screw job.

MBA 24 BA 21

That's the final score in my world. MBA 10-0 and climbing in the national polls....

I don't have a dog in this hunt.....but...after seeing this game on TV it is hard to believe the officials were that dumb??? for lack of a cleaner word.....call it the Flatt Intimidation factor..........this was the worst I have seen in 40 years of covering and watching football.....even Flatt should have said in the interest of SPORTSMANSHIP we decline the call and accept the loss......Ronnie Carter would have probably overturned the decision anyway......by the way I was rooting for BA...Absolutely pitiful...these officials should be banned from high school officiating

There were 4 bad calls that went against MBA:

1. The touchdown by BA that was not a catch

2. The spot at the 11 when the ball should have been on the 6

3. The spot on the 3 yard line when Comcast had the spot on the 6 inch line

4. The kick with time expired, 6 men not on the line, and the linemen not set for 1 full second

This is the opinion of someone with no ties to BA or MBA

OK...I'm re-writing this post, which was written in the heat of the moment. Look, this was a great high school football game. I don't know about the "clock on the field" thing, I really don't. Clearly, the clock on the scoreboard was at 0. I can understand how tough a defeat this was for MBA's fans and teams.
