Josh Smith is hands down the best linebacker in Tennessee. He is a 6'8" 255 pound middle lineback for the rebels and his potential is limitless. He's as mean as a rattlesnake and his intensity is only rivlaed by his brother Jefferey Smith Jr. Watch for Josh and Jeffrey during the playoffs. Fo Shizzle

Zach "Chavez" Chapin From Lewis County.I believe he was 2nd in tackles for all of tennessee this season.That along with good awareness and 4.5 speed are great things for him and his career.

i think the best linebacker in the state went out in the 5th game when brent hayes got hurt. he is 6'2'' 250 pounds and runs a 4.7 40. he had 165 tackles as a sophmore and led the tri state area. he was second in the area before he got hurt this year. look for a big season from him next year.

Jake Kiser from Mcnairy Central. He's 6'2 225 lbs. He had 117 tackles last year as a sophmore and recieved the Region 6-2a Defensive Player of the year award.

I remember when we played D-B that first kickoff, he got so pumped and ran like a bat out of you-know-where down the field. What insued was ugly. He absolutely blasted the wedge. I was amazed at his insanity. The guy's a maniac and a player.

brandon turnbow....hands down is the best in the state..the guy is a junior-and through the regular season he had 140+ tackles. He posted 24 tackles in 1 game this year-he makes our D click!
