mrbasketball
Pickett Co. will win this one by double digits. I've saw both play and would say this one won't be close.

Pickett Co. could win, but to say that it wont be close...You must not know to much about basketball... It will be a close game that can go either way.. I look for the big man Matt Reeder to make the difference and LA comes out with a win.
UCSportsFan
Being a much larger school and being one of the best in 7AA, they should be heavy favorites any time these two schools play considering Pickett Co. is one of the smallest schools in the state. LA will be up for this game I think to avenge their 100-61 loss the last time these two teams met. Shouldn't a good AA team be expected to beat a small A team? I have watched both play and this will be a good ball game, and yes we all know that Pickett County is smaller than LA, however those of us that live in this area also know that Pickett County holds their kids back alot of the times so when your playing against a Senior from Pickett County he is most definately old enough to vote and some have said almost and i did say almost legal drinking age!!! bobcatfan300
What does age have to do with a large school having a lot more players to pick from? Just because someone is a few months older, in a few cases, doesn't give then any more talent. There are a lot of senior teams around which have no talent and plenty of young teams which do. The large schools have a lot more students and should usually be better, but in this case, they usually don't.
The General
Devilfanatic has a point. If you have a group of seniors who are in their 5 year, and your playing a group of juniors that have never been held back. Then I think that makes up for the size of school difference. How much larger is LA than Pickett? About 100 kids or so?
coachmax65
Can somebody tell me what happened with LA boys tonight? It sounded ugly. Also, is Pickett Co. that good after what LA did at Oliver Springs jst last week. Was OS that bad or Pickett that good?
stud daddy
Not only did it sound ugly, it looked ugly. Pickett Co. have a great boys team that are quick and can hit from anywhere on the floor. Livingston never gave up though, they just had a bad night, couln't get anything to fall. Coach Bibbs has a great team, but I knew he would.
blueeyes
what was the score, the post makes it out to sound bad.
G82bUTfan
Livingston has about 500-600 more kids than Pickett. Livingston has a good team but they came out flat....probably had something to do with the delay of the game and the dedication of the gym. But do not take anything away from PC they get after you on defense! They are well coached and can run an offense this year and not just run up and down the floor. I look for both teams to finish in the top two of their district.
bobcatfan300
A ten minute delay shouldn't make a team go flat. Pickett's "old men" are just more talented and they start four JUNIORS, so so much for holding back players making a difference. They went up 15-0 and had a 32 point lead at one time. Livingston did a great job on holding Bailey to just 16 points, but he also was playing on a bad ankle. Josh Wright and Lance Mason played outstanding games each scoring 18 points, Luke Mason was great as always on D, and Dustin Mitchell played very well off the bench.
