Lets get back on the topic of football, and not on the topic of wiping butts. Sprayed does not play as big a part now as he use to. And as time goes on, he will not an assat to Boyd. Most people there right now do not even know what he does. That is why I made that comment. He is not on campus, and does not have much of an active part at boyd.

Proudwarrior4, you described your players and coaches as people who put God first and foremost. What kind of people do you think God blesses? Your season should have come to an end at Coalfield and several more times afterwards. I could give you several very rare things that has kept CAK moving on. You might want to see it for what it is and give God the glory .

I was a student at BBS K-12, graduated 2003. there has never been a bill spain or sprayed that has helped with the football program that i know of and i played football so everyone drop him. coach akins, phant, and reynolds are the brains behind everything that goes on football wise at BBS. i am predicting peardon and the bucs, with a great defense, to run all over, around, and through CAK in the semis and face and strong DCA team in the finals. good luck bucs.

Eddie Van Halen- That comment was not funny at all. Coach Akins is a great coach and has lots of great coaches helping him. He does not need any help from some guy (whoever your talking about). And by the way he does get on here and read these posts. And duece it's fant not phant.

If there's one thing I know about sports, its that you never underestimate the power of an underdog. They should know that from their state basketball championship. T think that the boyd players see all this "boyd by 30" nonsense and laugh. Anyone who's smart knows that you don't get this far in the playoffs on luck. We'll be mentally ready, thanks to an outstanding core of coaches. We just need to take care of buisness and play our game. Good luck tomorrow.

By the way, what does it say for both schools when I see the grammar used on this website? What are they teaching these kids?

CAK has had a great season, congrats........however you have also over-achieved and this week it will catch up to you.

Boyd-35

CAK-7

over-achieved? Yes, we have made it alot farther than anyone expected, but don't think that we didn't work hard to get here. The Warriors deserve to be in the final four, and I'm sick of hearing that we're here simply because of luck. If we play hard, we can easily win this game. CAK by 3.

This is my first post to this site, but have been following the discussion i.e. CAK vs. Boyd pretty intently since I have spent a lot of time with this CAK team on and off the field. I do have to say I take issue with the 12th man on the field issue. I am part of a group of CAK supporters who get together every Friday and pray for this dedicated team and coaching staff. We NEVER pray for a win! We pray mostly for the safety of EACH player both CAK and their opponent. We also pray for fair officiating and good sportsmanship all around because a win or lose is soon forgotten, but character good or bad endures in memories a long time. The character of a team is ultimately more important than the win ratio. What CAK players possess is a love for their Lord first and foremost and a desire to give glory to HIM in all sitiations including sports. They are also talented young men who strive for excellence both on the football field, in other sports and academically They are lead by Godly men who have each players interest at heart and who the players truly respect and want to win for them. They have also worked incredibly hard and may just be peaking at the precise time in their season. I don't know who will win or lose, but I do know that God is with both these teams. Luck also has nothing to do with it which really irritates me about the postings I've seen concerning CAK! Football is 4 quarters and I believe the difference between CAK and some of the teams they beat in the last few minutes has to do with the fact that CAK PLAYED THE ENTIRE GAME AND NEVER GAVE UP! Instead of luck - perserverance got them those wins. The players, coaches, staff, parents, students and fans of CAK want to welcome Boyd Buchanan to CAK Friday night. We are looking forward to a night of good fellowship, great football and good sportsmanship all around. For those of you driving to Knoxville, be safe and WELCOME TO THE HOME OF THE WARRIORS!

Proudwarrior4,

Thank you for your thoughtful post. As a member of the CAK family, I'm especially glad to hear about the weekly prayer meeting. But I wanted to comment about the "luck" thing. I wonder if these commenters might indeed be sensing the hand of providence in some of the games, but may just not be familiar with the actions they sense in biblical/spiritual terms? In praying about this Warrior team and it's activities (especially here in the latter part of the season) I've personally had a strong impression that our Father was active in the matter in some way. I've had more trouble discerning how to pray this week since Boyd is also a Christian school, but it has occurred to me that in times past (Aaron's rod that budded, David & Saul) God has chose to demonstrate support for some of His kids over others. Anyway, as someone pointed out recently, this is a football forum not a religious forum ..............

So all I can say with 2 1/2 hrs to kickoff is Gooooooo Warriors!!!
