What type of offense does Boyd have, are they a strong running or passing team, or are they balanced. What are their most popular formations.

do you not think the coach for cak is going to know everything they do anyways? if not then cak is for sure in some trouble. its the state semi, i guarantee he does.... its just someone asking a question about the others team so they can compare their team to em cause they dont have the resources a coach does.... game film, scouts, word.

Nearly all coaches agree to trade game film prior to the game. I know Boyd does beacuse CPA were watching it prior to last years state.

Originally, the A Championship game was CPA vs. DCA. However, if the DCA tailback is hurt, it is anyone's championship to win. My bets are Boyd B if Wooden is down.

Despite the fact that I have been tooting DCA's horn the past week, I think Boyd wins the State. There is NO WAY Wooden can be anything like what he was during the regular season and CPA playoff game this season. His injury is to severe for that. Even if he can play some, or even if he can start, his injury can't get better in 2 weeks. They might get by Fayette without him, but surely not Boyd. To many weapons.

 

I, however, will be rooting for DCA through thick and thin this year because a tragedy has struck them at the worst of times. If Wooden was healthy, DCA is the best team in the state.

Does DCA even have any other offensive threats other than Wooden,i am beginning to think that is all they have offensively...im curious to know if they anybody else who can be of service on offense...

Fullback Matt Meacham had 3 TDs against Ezell. QB Jim Fenwick is a threat on option runs and such. He is a good scrambler. Their passing game is decent.

 

The thing that they lay their hat on, acmoney, is defense, and Wooden. Their defense is #1 in 1A and third in all classes. They have a big line. Wooden was, in my opinion, the best runner in the state. Thus, the formula worked.

 

Now, they have to rely on their defense and someone stepping up on offense. We'll have to hope that works.
