DB seniors - recruiting

Now that the great season is over, who is being looked at from DB and by which colleges and who from DB is looking?

What about Flanery, Throp, Hodge, Gaines, Tripato anybody else?

I am an OR fan and really have no business being on this thread but I can tell you there are a few players that will be playing somewhere. Those were an awesome bunch of athletes. I know some will be moving on past High School.

I am expecting an almighty battle when He and DB's #21 Moten are seniors (he is also a soph), hopefully Moten will be the main runner by then and it will be good to see them go against each other.

No doubt the fullback will deserve a look. As I stated on a previous thread, he took over every game I have seen him play for the past two years. I also think the Gaines kid may get a look (he may only be a Jr. though). Next year, the QB and the Williams kid (maybe) will be DI caliber recruits.

The fullback (Chase Flanary) is definitely getting looks. Rumor has it that he wants to stay close to home, and I can't blame him. I'm sure that many of the seniors will be getting looks including Throp, Tritapoe, Gaines, Flanary, etc.....mainly from about the same caliber of schools, where I believe each and every one of them can make an impact.

As far as I know Booker hasnt made his mind up just yet. I am not sure who all is looking at him so Ill wait to see who all the schools are at the end of our run. I'll post later with a list.

The announcer at DB and the reaction of the DB fans when it was announced Booker breaking OR's all time rushing record was without doubt the classiest thing I have ever seen from an opponet at home or anywhere else.

 

No whatever it was in the past this DB , OR relationship has got to be a shining example to teams around the country of the way you can be bitter rivals and still act and respond with great respect and admiration of each other.

Any word on the Throp kid and college plans? He seemds like a perfect example of what colleges should be looking for - a strong student athlete.
