District 4AA

It seems everybody has apready given the District title to OS, but it could be premature.

OS if off to a 4-1 start, but they haven't been able to throw it in the ocean the last three games. They shot less than 33% from the field in the Lawrence County Classic and maybe worse than that at Harriman (especially through three quarters). If they shoot that bad Tuesday, they'll leave LC with a loss.

Kingston is playing well. The Lady Jackets always play good defense, but this year they needed to find some scoring to make up for Steffany Pugh. So far, Cupp had done her part while Sitzlar, Thearp, Cottrell and the rest have picked up their scoring to off set the loss of Pugh. Plus, the district and region is at Kingston so they could make some noise this year.

I think Kingston girls have a good shot at beating O.S at least once this year. For one thing they beat them last year, so they are not scared of them like some teams are. I think O.S. will win thedistrict, but don't count out Kingston, L.C., and Loudon . Loudon girls are looking pretty good also. O.S. will have to stop Saddiq.

I also thought Loudon looked good in the Hall of Fame Tournament especially with Saddiq at less than 100%.

If given the opportunity, Laura Fielden could be a BIG help for Kingston.

I dont think Kingston will be beating OS this year unless they play a whole lot differently than they did at Harriman. They only beat harriman by 8 which isnt that good.

Remember Harriman was tied with OS in the second half before OS dominated the final quarter for the win.

Went to watch Oakdale and Harriman. Probably won't see OS until Tuesday against Loudon.
