I don't know if the deal has been made or even offered... but the rumor in Chattanooga is it will most likely be someone from this end of the state. I can't say anymore until the school makes the announcement, but if it is true, he will do a good job. He is well respected in the East and is a good football coach.

I've heard rumors saying Coach McAdams from Ripley is going to Munford. Anyone else heard that?

I wouldn't think so espically with his son going into his senior year. But you never know. I do know that Munford has a very athletic QB who is going to be a junior. He alone almost beat Dyersburg.

5 people interviewed last week.Coach McAdams was not one of them. That rumor has been floating around ever since the job opened.

Glen Ryan from Soddy-Daisy in Chattanooga is the new head coach. He will be there in 30 days.

I heard Jim Swafford fro South Doyle was getting the job at Munford. I guess that is another lie told by the big SWAFFY!

I know Jim Swafford, and true he will not fit in everywhere, but he is a good coach. Jim is just a little high strung, thats all.

I am a bit surprised about Coach Ryan's decision- is the move to Munford a move up? Does he have family there?

I actually called this before this yr. He turned down (?) a job last yr to stay at SD this yr. He had a great senior class this yr and now they're gone. But 5a to 4a, 7-4 playoff team to a 1-9 team, I quess no pressure for a few yrs, although the last Munford coach only got 4 yrs, and it appears he is moving away from family. His wife is from Rhea Co. and I think he has family in Tullahoma. His son will be a senior next yr in a new school. He said in the paper that he was never accepted in Soddy-Daisy although he coached there for atleast 15 yrs.
